Travel Log II: 5 TIPS FOR EFFICIENT TRAVELING!

Traveling is about what you make of it. Being prepared is important. Five tips for efficient traveling are: 1. Bring an empty water bottle to get through security. You can fill it up after going through and not spend $10 for bottled water in the terminal. Airports have filtered water these days! (see image). 2. Keep your medicines with you at all times. Do not check them in! 3. Have your boarding pass and Driver’s license or passport within easy reach. After going through security, put your ID up where you always keep it so you do not lose it! The boarding pass will be needed at the gate so have that ready before boarding the plane. 4.For Heaven’s sake, buy a carry on suitcase with wheels that rotate and turn easily. My suitcase moves without having to lean it on its side. I find this a great asset for the ole back! 5. Be very nice to the person sitting near you. Who knows they may have to put an oxygen mask on you! But I hope not!!!!!

Great tip about bringing your own empty water bottle. Another tip… if you want to travel efficiently, leave the kids at home! It is fun to bring them, but certainly not efficient 🙂

Great tips! I’ve started bringing my own water bottle and it is so helpful. It saves money and is nice to have a full water bottle on the plane. I have “spinner” luggage with four wheels too and it is amazing!

Spinner wheels!!! WOW. That is what they are called. I am happy I bought that suitcase. I actually got it at Costco . I think they are the best price for the high quality you get!

It is not easy traveling with pets. The last flight I took, a dog cried the entire time. It upset and disrupted almost all the passengers. People were moving in the aisles to the back of the plane and threats were abounding. This caused the lady to tell the poor passenger (really loudly) across the aisle her sad story the entire way too. He never acknowledged her once. The whole affair was quite sad.
