Many of us who do live in the Pacific NW enjoy visiting this city by land, boat, or air. This trip was by boat. I think I have captured a great feel for the city in these shots.

I love Victoria island! We visited when our first daughter was 15 months old. We chased Kristin around Buchard Garden and strolled the adorable neighborrhoods but missed alot of the the history you shared here. Very interesting. I would love to return and dig deeper.

It is interesting you bring this up because that is how I have felt when I would go to Victoria. If I went to the gardens, I would miss the culture of the city. In any regard I love gardens too and I suspect on my next visit I will go to that very garden!
