Earth and all its beauty have always mesmerized me. The waters that surround our world especially bring me calmness in my soul. Looking out toward the ocean is so comforting, yet we all know how fast a storm can change the seas. I wonder what whales think of the storms? Come see for yourself.
It was not surprising while on vacation in Maui, I would once again take in the Pacific Ocean like my palate would enjoy a Strawberry Daiquiri. This time with an extra layer of anticipation. You see I had never been out to sea when the whales were so plentiful……It was winter and it was the seasonal migration of the Humpback Whales. They brought out their best for me to view!
The plan was to take one of the cruises out for a two hour tour. It almost did not happen!!! Reservations were made late and the weather was sketchy. As you can see, we did make it out. It was definitely rough waters, and we were on one of the last boats before all whale watching service was cancelled the next day. So glad we made it so I can show off these whales to you!
Wow – this must have been an amazing experience! We did see humpbacks in Alaska, but none of them breached like this! 🙂

Hi there,
Yes. It was amazing and might I add exhilarating! We were told it was a really good day and one point brought out about the breaching we saw was that the water’s choppiness may have led to more breaching than usual….It was probably at least a 100 breaches we saw in just a two hour boat ride! It made my day and it will left a lasting impression on me. Thank you for dropping by so much. Alesia

I think the whales would have been disappointed if you didn’t show up. They clearly saved their best dance routines for you!
