Ticking Time Bomb

I just got out of the hospital.  I am learning not to advertise much of my life on social media, but we all still need to reach out for help.  If any one knows me very good, they know I love watches.  Here is a bit of my collection.  I love swatches the most, but there is a Gucci in there somewhere.

I unfortunately  need to have more surgery.  I am at home with a stent in place and feel like yuck, but I am glad I followed through with this surgery. Onto next week for the second part!   I will just put it this way.  My surgeon said to me yesterday, “you a ticking time bomb.”  Enough said.  Thanks to my Pastor Julie Huston of my Lutheran church for dropping by and my neighbor for such a great dinner.

Sorry to many friends for not telling about this important surgery in my life, but I am just about done with social media.  The only reason I brought this surgery up is that I am Veteran and the VA does not want to pay quite possibly.  Another post to come in regards to that issue.

Well although I had no idea of your surgery, I can only guess that is why I’ve had you on my mind and have been praying for you friend. Glad you took care of the problem. Prayers that the next one goes well and your recovery is quick and complete. Take care of yourself!

Being a ticking time bomb does not sound like fun at all. Prayers for your surgery – for you to have strength and courage and for your doctors to have skill and wisdom. Good luck.

Thank you Donna. I am still in pain but the doctor knew I needed this so I put my life in his hands and pray for a good outcome . Thank you also for your kind words on the other social media outlet!

I want to keep blogging, but I want purpose behind it! I was just about to lose it with the VA when I called them as they stated I should and told me to go to their ER after I specifically said I went to a doctor who is a specialist in kidneys who was taking me to surgery . And the guy on the phone wanted me to start all over again???? Ugh. Yes yes – got to keep blogging because maybe the VA will make the choice program work more efficiently for people like me who are too far away and have difficulty getting to the hospital that far from my home ! Thank you Jane

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I know about hospitals all too well. I feel like I’ve lived there for a hundred years! Anyway, keep us posted! Take care and get well soon

Thank you Michele . Feel yucky right now, but hopeful that my issues can be resolved with the 2nd surgery. VA is making me go through hoops, but hopeful that they will expedite things and see the importance of outside care and the wishes of veterans all across our nation. We all want some say so in our own health care.
