Easter Through My Eye

I photographed a weed. Seriously this is one. What do you see? I see a seed of beauty.

Nature alone has a way of simplying God to me. Jesus alone is grace in action.

Spring is on. Enjoying the sights of the State of Alabama and thinking today of God’s beauty and this small country church illustrating just that.

Bird you are so beautiful and God has not forgot the least of these.

This is another weed. What looks ugly from a distance is beautiful when you take the time to look at the detail.

Jesus has Risen. Tomorrow many of us will remember this highlight of the Christian Walk. Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate all of you of different belief systems.  I am grateful for the beauty of Photography and how it wows me.  May you be wowed in your own way.

LINUS RIP

Death Is No Big Deal As Told By Our Dog Linus:

I was not afraid to go.
No siree.
I was not sure about the Path.
But off I had to be.
I know tears might come.
But try not to cry for me.
I had a great earthly journey and
more fun than can be. Luke and Elijah
you are my pals from here to eternity.

I am now resting quietly on a gentle cloud.
Believe me, I am barking out LOUD!!!!
Just you boys remember to live joyfully.
I will be fine In Heaven’s Glory. Just
wait and one day you too will see.

Dedicated to all who have lost a pet. You too will see….

Linus

Precious gift all wrapped up nice.
You know you are our one delight.
Surrounded by all to glare.
For only one family are you to share.

Autism Calmed By Nature

Many of you have met Luke through my writing on this blog. Luke has been diagnosed with Autism. Today camping brought solace to his mind. He enjoyed a day of outdoors, sitting by the river, and relaxing. Here are words to describe what I believe he was experiencing as we all do by nature in my opinion and a few photos of the area he was camping in the Cascade Mountains specifically Mt. Index in the Central area of the Cascades:

Rushing waters flow to me
Showing yourself so gently
Making my life seem tenderly calm
Sitting near you to feel your majesty

I am always thankful to see Luke resting in God’s creation. It is times like these that help me realize how close we as humans are to nature itself.

Oregon PHOTOGRAPHY BY ALESIA
Nature called me beckoned me today and I went. Come follow with me on my path:

A flowing waterfall
A tragic turn
A rushing sound
A blustery storm
A tranquil moment
A flowing sound
A crashing end
A peaceful flow
A flowing waterfall

Genealogy is not only for HUMANS!

The Love of the English Springer goes way back in our family.

The Love of the English Springer goes way back in our family.

Thirteen years ago when my husband brought our dog Linus home, we knew there was just something about him. My husband was really drawn to him immediately. After I began my genealogy studies I think I began to realize why my husband liked English Springers so much. We found out Dan’s grandpa Russell raised English Springers. My husband states he knew nothing of this until I produced a photo of his grandfather with a litter of them! Maybe that explains our Love of our English Springer! The apple did not fall far from the TREE or maybe this is poetry in motion. Only God can explain such mysteries. Imagine my husband’s surprise when he looked at this photo.
