I got a great treat today when I had some bird couples drop by.  I wish you could have heard the arguments going on between the woodpecker couple and the Blue Jay couple.  I was wonder why they were so mad at each other?  But then again they could have just been flirting!!! It makes my heart sing to hear and see all the fuss going on in my yard!

I am so fortunate to live in a bird paradise.  If you are patience, they will come.   I have been waiting for this fella to be in just the right place for me to take his photo! Look at all them all ! He is adorable !

Long Island, NY: A Unique Perspective

In April of this year, I had the pleasure of visiting Long Beach, Long Island, NY. It was for a reunion with an old Army Buddy from my Desert Storm Days. WE had not seen each other for almost 25 years. It was a great feeling to see my friend and to her delight she could not wait for me to see her beautiful town that she resided in called Long Beach. She took such pride in showing me around and giving me the “grand tour” of the area. Neither of us thought that only 6 months later, the whole area would be devastated by Hurricane Sandy. Central Park: ON TOUR

Nature is calling me home. Photography has always been one of my favorite hobbys. I especially love the works I see online and in WordPress Blogs I follow. These photos I took were with my Panasonic DMC-ZR1 this spring as I relaxed alongside others enjoying a stroll in Central Park. I found peace here.
