Death Is No Big Deal As Told By Our Dog Linus:

I was not afraid to go.
No siree.
I was not sure about the Path.
But off I had to be.
I know tears might come.
But try not to cry for me.
I had a great earthly journey and
more fun than can be. Luke and Elijah
you are my pals from here to eternity.

I am now resting quietly on a gentle cloud.
Believe me, I am barking out LOUD!!!!
Just you boys remember to live joyfully.
I will be fine In Heaven’s Glory. Just
wait and one day you too will see.

      There is nothing like a family pet. Linus was the best. He kept that baby face to the end when he quietly drifted off to sleep to land on his own cloud in Heaven. Thank you, Alesia

      I appreciate that. I loved telling little stories about Linus or just getting his expression on a photo that would crack me up. I think that is another reason I love your blog because you share about your beloved pet also. Alesia

      Donna,
      I was not alone. Linus took a turn for the worse on Tuesday. It has been a very hard week, but we know he is enjoying his new adventures. BTW–Linus’ last meal was a cheeseburger going through the McDonald’s drive through. He only ate 3 bites, but it was a blessing watching that. I will talk with you soon. Alesia

    Ahhh Alesia, I am so sorry for your loss of Linus. He was a cool dog and you did give him the best of the best in his lifetime. Praying comfort to you and the boys.

      Thank you. Lots of tears shed. He was our pal for so long. The house is lonely without him. I kept his chain and ever so often have to shake it. It sounds like him coming down the hallway.
